SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM

Well, I've heard some of my favorite artists such as Oliver and Lifelike do remixes of Sneaky Sound System, but I'm ashamed to admit I've never really given the band themselves the attention I now know they so clearly deserve. Actually these heads are straight blowing me away right now as I have their perfect vibes echoing through the spaceship whilst I compose this write-up. Everything that was good about the 80's and 90's with a really unique and modern twist. These heads seriously have it going on, gonna be HUGE by the end of 2012. So confused as to how some of their tracks still have less than 1,000 plays! Get with it Planet Earth. Mad respect to the Sneaky Sound System, incredible work .:. .:. .:.

LUMINAIRE

Okay Earth, if you haven't been fortunate enough to stumble across Luminaire yet this is your lucky day. Started watching this dude when he dropped his massive track 'No More' (featured here with the Lindsay leaks) about a month ago, which was honestly my favorite dancefloor banger back at the end of 2011, and he hasn't disapointed on a single release since. It is a great pleasure to share with you his 'No Use' EP, dropped yesterday with Yeah/Dish! Records (straight outta Paris) featuring two originals and three remixes. Usually I don't get excited about house/French touch, but this dude is in the fucking zone. The Head is gonna be a well known by the end of 2012, you heard it here first.

Yo Luminaire, Respect from the DEF SEC Family, keep doin' your thing .:. .:. .:.

SHOOK

Shook is a serious head who is making some very unique music. Sometimes he reminds me of a kind of dancier Starsmith but its not really fair to compare this dude to anyone because of how vast his range is. We've got a lot of respect for this guy, and if you don't already rank him amongst the top producers on your planet right now you probably will by the end of 2012. Liquid Joey and I are lovin' this feel good remix he did for Emil & Friends, released about a week ago:

And just incase you missed it, here is the massive EP he dropped 2 months ago, 'The Rise and Fall'. If you haven't heard this its a must, no matter what sub-genre of EDM you affiliate with, the brotha Shook's got you covered. Keep building those Pyramids Shook, you head .:.

LAPALUX When You're Gone EP FEB 7

I've been addicted to Lapalux for the last few months, no one does lush like him.  His tracks just have this next level depth to them - they really suck you in.  He's been belting out a stream incredible remixes lately, but on Feburary 7th we finally get to hear some new original Lapalux tracks.  Gutter Glitter - a teaser from his When You're Gone EP - is up on Soundcloud.  It blends glitched out textures, warped R&B, and heavily fuxed-with samples into pure pleasure.

INNER WORLDS Remixes Dani Deahl .:. New Emeron & Fox

A blissed out, faded, bass heavy bliss wave banger of a remix from INNER WORLDS for the Dani Deahl - Diplo Hates You remix competition.  Warped analog synths, lots of vocal work & a triumphant ending.  Give it some love, and don't forget to vote for the INNER WORLDS & Follow Me Theophilus London remixes in the ongoing Theophilus London - All Around The World remix comp, links below ::

Monsieur Adi - Requiem

This incredible track has been making its way around the blog circuit lately.  Crisp retro synth lines + some space-ass vocoder work.  French producer Monsieur Adi knows whats good.

More New Oliver

More New Oliver, this time a remix of Childish Gambino's Heartbeat, as always they killed it:

BL∆CK†CEILING - †EENWVFF

Big blogs have been all over witch house lately (about a year too late).  This album by BL∆CK†CEILING is one of my favorite pure witch house records right now - mutilated, dragged out radio pop vocal samples, dark electro, and reverb heavy drums - without the repetitiveness/overindulgence of other witch house artists.  definitely worth a download, available for free below.  Witch house might be a bit of a trend genre, but a lot of these sounds are here to stay, get up on it.

Mitch Murder

Yo for real if you like 80s inspired music and you don't already know about our boy Mitch Murder this is going to change your life. There are so many heads that make nu-italo or nu-80s music, but no one does it quite like mitch. His album 'Current Events' was a work of art, a masterpiece, and in this poetic response to a generation that believes it is possible only to imitate, mitch demonstrated the ability of an artist to truly capture the essence of a time past and give that which was once lost a new place amongst the heads of the future. Since the release, Mitch has dropped a few tracks that should in my opinion solidify his place amongst the best producers on Earth right now. No matter what Galaxy we are in, what dimension, or what time, Liquid Joey and I always have mitch's vibes pingin' around the ship. Here is a track he released just an hour ago, a remix of Lazerhawk, along with two originals he released about a month ago. Respect Mitch, you're one serious Head .:. .:. .:.

GOLDROOM .:. Viceroy

Goldroom is on point right now. Straight killing everything he gets his hands on in the remix game, and making some really unique sounding original tracks. This kid has the California Rock/Disco scene on lock down. Fucking head:

DEF SEC Cousin Viceroy dropped the second part of his Jet Life Series today and it is a silky smooth remix of the homie Biggie Smalls. If it's that Cali Funk/House you are looking for, Vice is your man. Our boy killed this one so make sure you show him some love .:.
